| Problem: | Cause: |

| Problem: | Cause: |
| Seepage from Jet Plate | Reservoir Overfill |
| Solution: |
| If there is seepage from the jet area of cartridge during or after filling process, the cartridge has been over filled. Place the jet area on a paper towel for a period of 3-5 minutes to draw out the excess ink. |
| Problem: | Cause: |
| Seepage from Fill Hole | Reservoir Overfill |
| Solution: |
| If there is seepage from the fill hole, STOP the filling process! The cartridge is full. Reduce pressure on the refill bottle and draw out some of the excess ink. |
| Problem: | Cause: |
| No Print | Dry Sponge Latency |
| Solution: |
| When the cartridge has been dry for a long period (over 30 days), the sponge becomes dried and clogged. Set cartridge in a shallow pool of ink, e.g., in flat cap from plastic milk jug, for a period of 1-2 hours. This problem may not always be correctable. |
| Problem: | Cause: |
| Cannot Fill / Nozzle Will Not Enter Cartridge | Fill Hole Not Complete |
| Solution: |
| Using tool enclosed in kit, push down and turn clockwise. While ensuring that handle of tool is making contact with cartridge, continue turning while backing out tool. This will complete the fill hole, and you will be able to insert nozzle 1/2 " to perform fill. |
| Problem: | Cause: |
| Color Not True | Purging Incomplete |
| Solution: |
| Purging all the black ink from cartridge may take one-half of the first refill in a color pack. To purge quickly, set printer to print blocks, if printer has graphics capability. If not, an alternative is to set cartridge on water-moistened paper towel compress to draw ink through the cartridge. |
