Please note that if you include as much information to a potential buyer as possible, the easier it is for someone to decide whether they want to place a bid to win your auction. Be sure to read our HMTL Tips & Site Guidelines for restrictions on the HTML you can use in your description.

What do I include in the description for my item?

You should include a good description of the item you are selling. Provide any details which will help the buyer to make a decision to buy your item such as the condition of the item. A decision to buy will be based on the information your provide so make it a complete description.

Don't assume people know the features of a particular item. Write your description as if they know nothing about it. If necessary include the height, length, weight, etc.

Photo:
Include a photo if at all possible! It is well known that items with pictures have a much better chance at being viewed and purchased. See Image Upload for guidelines and instructions.

Shipping Information:
Who pays for shipping and what costs and methods are being used. How soon will you ship the item? Are you able to deliver the item? If you deliver, what area are you willing to deliver to? Are there any fees for delivery? See our Shipping page which includes forms for calculating shipping charges using UPS, and United Postal Service.

If you are going to use PayPal.com to accept Visa, MasterCard or check payments insert the following image into your description. When the buyer contacts you after the auction closes you will then supply them with your unique url.
